autobiz creates Joreca, its subsidiary dedicated to the collection and analysis of data related to the marketplace sector

Joreca is the new entity of the Autobiz Group, focused on the collection and analysis of data related to the world of Marketplaces.

It takes over the Group’s historical activity with classified ad sites (mainly real estate, automotive, and employment) and their investors.

The goal of this new subsidiary: to be independent from the activities of Autobiz, which are exclusively focused on the automotive market, and to accelerate its growth into new markets and countries.

Apart from its automotive-related activities, Autobiz has also been supporting online marketplaces and their investors since 2009. Now, more than 20 people (data engineers, data producers, and market analysts) work 100% of their time on this topic.

Thanks to proprietary technologies, both in terms of AI and big data, Joreca SAS now takes over this part of the Group’s activity.

Joreca: A Data Expert of Marketplaces

Concretely, this new entity scans and analyzes the content of the main classified ad portals in the world (34 countries involved in Europe, North and South America, and Asia), for real estate, automotive, and employment markets. These data are used by most of the major investors and operators in the sector (Adevinta, Auto Trader, Cargurus, Prosus…).

Joreca offers two types of products:

  • ‘Market Panels’: market standards for monitoring inventory and market share of publishers.
  • ‘Advertiser Databases’: granular data on professionals active online for sales or acquisition campaigns.
