autobiz launches Noa, the first car sales assistant based on Artificial Intelligence
Very promising returns: 19,000 vehicles inspected in 2022 thanks to Noa, with an average additional saving of €280 (excluding VAT) per new vehicle purchased.
autobiz’s first work on the Noa AI dates back to 2021. Through an R&D partnership with French tech nugget Monk, Europe’s leading trade-in and trade-in company was able to develop an artificial intelligence capable of detecting bodywork damage based on photos taken during the appraisal.
This new tool went into production at EasyReprise at the end of 2021 and quickly proved its worth. Last year, 19,000 vehicles were inspected by AI. In 62% of cases, the AI tool found more costs than the buyers, with an average of €280 plus VAT saved per new vehicle at the time of purchase!
Noa: a complete assistant for the motor trade
On the back of this success, which has been confirmed by initial successful tests with client distributors, autobiz is now officially launching its Noa assistant.
Gradually added to the autobizOffice suite, Noa is designed to assist sales teams in the various stages of purchasing and remarketing used vehicles.
Far from seeking to replace the field force, Noa focuses on automating and industrialising processes. This frees up the teams’ time for activities where they add the most value.
Noa is now available to autobizCarcheck customers with its bodywork damage recognition functionality. At the same time, the autobiz teams are already working with their EasyReprise colleagues and key customers on new applications of AI in B2C and B2B pricing, with production scheduled for the end of this year.
For the past 2 years, we have been betting that, like other industries, artificial intelligence could support the motor trade in the profound changes it is facing. With Noa, we have demonstrated the operational, practical, and financially quantifiable benefits of these new technologies. It’s a tour de force that demonstrates the quality and ongoing efforts of our technical, product, and field sales teams. Added to this are the strong synergies we have been able to build with our partner Monk and our first customers who have put their trust in us to test Noa.
says Emmanuel Labi, Chairman of autobiz.
