autobiz expands its strategic partnership with Nissan in Spain and Portugal

Partners for the past two years, Nissan and autobiz are today extending the scope of their global strategic partnership on the Iberian Peninsula. The new partnership will see the launch of trade-in sites and key tools from the autobizOffice suite at the Japanese manufacturer’s Spanish and Portuguese subsidiaries.

autobizOffice and online trade-in sites deployed on all Nissan networks on the peninsula

Since the end of 2020, Nissan’s subsidiaries in Portugal and Spain have had access to part of the autobizOffice suite (autobizMarket and autobizMonStock), monitoring tools, and tracking dashboards supplied by autobiz.
In Spain, these tools were used throughout the Nissan network. This is now also the case in Portugal, where 38 dealerships use autobizOffice daily to manage their pricing and Internet marketing. The roll-out, which began in November 2021, was supported by a combination of distance learning and in-store training for all network members.
The second major innovation in the partnership between Nissan and autobiz is the online trade-in. The leader in car data and valuations has put online complete car evaluation systems in the colours of the brand in both countries. This type of platform, for which autobiz has become the European leader, enables the optimisation of new and used vehicle sales, as well as sourcing from private individuals.

Focus on customer satisfaction and commercial efficiency

This cutting-edge support, together with the volumes provided by autobiz, has enabled many players to take the plunge into cash trade-ins in 2021. Faced with a shortage of used vehicles, many professionals have joined the autobiz network in which to open-up a new, profitable sourcing channel.

We are delighted to be continuing and strengthening our partnership with autobiz. The use of their tools extended to our entire network will enable our dealers to obtain information, in real time, regarding the value of used car transactions. This information applies to both Nissan and competitor models, based on used cars for sale on a multitude of specialist websites. This information will enable a more efficient and detailed assessment of the value of used car trade-ins and sales across the Nissan network, improving customer satisfaction.

Rui Alves – Director of Fleet and Used Vehicles at Nissan Portugal – on the benefits of the partnership.

Today, a market monitoring tool such as the one offered by autobizMarket is essential in our daily work to know what is happening in our network and how we can define our commercial and pricing strategy.

says Julio Pastor, Nissan Spain’s Used Car Sales Director.
